  • I don’t use my fireplace all summer, shouldn’t I wait to schedule maintenance in the fall? Is there an optimal time for fireplace maintenance?

Not necessarily. If you are consistent with doing annual maintenance, you can do it at any time and you’ll be ready for use. Many people prefer to have maintenance around the anniversary of their installation, but it doesn’t need to be then. The difficulty some customers face in the fall is that everyone thinks like that and our maintenance schedules fill, so dates and times you want may be taken. In addition, we always take care of our customers with no heat first and when the cold snap comes, we do occasionally have to ask to reschedule maintenances.

  • Do you use any subcontractors for fireplace maintenance?

We do not use subcontractors to do any service work. Our service technicians are all our own Seattle area resident, background checked, drug tested employees who receive training and supervision. They participate annually in manufacturer courses to keep current with products on the market and most are NATE certified. If you ever have any question about your service, the service manager is available to answer your call and help with issues.
