How often do I need a tankless maintenance?
Manufacturers recommend annual maintenance including cleaning the screen filter to ensure the long life of the product. The tankless water heater should last 20 years with maintenance. Screen filter cleaning can be done by the homeowner, or we can do it in a maintenance appointment. A flush, especially for those with poor water quality will be needed at some point. We recommend every other year. This ensures no build up of sediments from the water running through the equipment. While you may have done your own flush of a standard tank water heater in the past, we recommend professional service for a tankless unit.

Should I get my tankless water heater services at the same time as my furnace?
Yes, you will get a discount if you combine the tankless water heater maintenance with a furnace maintenance. Our HVAC technicians are manufacturer trained to maintain both heating and tankless water heating equipment so they are able to combine it into one appointment. This saves you time and money. If you have a hydronic system, boiler or other type of water heater, we have our water heater division experts ready to service and maintain your equipment.
