ClimaTech glass technology

ClimaTech iE features carbonized foam liners in select mainframe channels for increased energy efficiency. iE features expanded polystyrene (EPS) with graphite added to the raw material, resulting in a carbonized foam that reflects heat and significantly improves insulation performance.

Highly efficient material
Integrated graphite and foam cell structure provides optimal insulation capacity but uses less material.

Reduced energy consumption
iE helps lower heating and cooling demands – good for your fuel budget and the environment

Thermal barrier spacer systems

Spacer systems not only enhance the thermal performance of a window by blocking the conduction of heat, they also can improve the window’s durability and strength. Slimline Series offers two spacer options.

PPG Intercept Warm-Edge spacer
A unique, one-piece metal alloy, U-channel design that reduces heat loss through the window. It’s stronger and better at retaining insulating gas than many conventional spacers, and is nearly 25% more effective than a traditional box-shaped spacer at the edge of the glass unit.

Foam spacer
Combines a structural foam spacer with a seal of hot melt butyl to create a “warm” non-conductive edge. This non-metal design eliminates any metal-to-glass contact,
thereby increasing the edge of the glass temperature by more than 16° – resulting in 60% more energy efficiency than a traditional box metal spacer.

  • How long will the vinyl window installation take?

Depends on how big the vinyl window replacement project is! A typical whole home window replacement takes 1-2 days. These durable vinyl windows are going to be in your home for a long time so we don’t take any of the common window installation shorts cuts that some other window companies take promising you a fast installation.

  • Why do you perform a Critical Measure?

The first step in purchasing Foundation series windows is our comprehensive Critical Measure process. Our trained window installers visit your home and measure each window to ensure that once we order the windows for you, they are the correct size and will give you that perfect seal fit for maximum energy efficiency. Performing a quality installation is just as important as the quality of the vinyl window for your long term comfort.

  • Do you use vinyl window subcontractors on the Foundation series window?

We do not use subcontractors to install windows, ever. Only our own bonded, drug tested and well trained Washington Energy Services employees, supervised by a manager who is a master installer.

  • How do I know if it’s time to replace my windows?

You wish to upgrade from Aluminum or single pane, energy losing windows

Aluminum window frames conduct heat rapidly making for poor insulation, when combined with single pane glass the entire structure of the window is venting your heat to the outside in winter and making for a hot home on hot summer nights. This costs you in utility bills, which is why most utilities pay rebates to help you make the choice to remove these inefficient aluminum windows.

    It’s Too Noisy Inside

The type of window you have plays a big role in noise transmission. Street noise and even airport noise can now be eliminated or greatly reduced with the modern technologies in window making. Our windows are created using advanced technology to reduce sound transmission, and it’s the the company that makes them VPI are known for their noise reduction windows.

    Fading Furniture, Carpets & Drapes

Older, single pane windows allow the sun’s rays in fading fabrics in your home. Our windows have a Low E film that blocks up to 95% of the sun’s ultraviolet light to protect your valuables while allowing natural light into your home.
