I want to take the time to let you know how impressed and pleased I am and have been with the products, the team responsible for getting things done, the installers, the company and really, the whole experience.

As to the products - I know you heard me gush on about them to one of my neighbors when you dropped by during the siding installation, but in case you missed any of the details about what has me so happy:

Doors - the new front door looks amazing - it is exactly what I wanted, the peep-hole is at the exact right height, and I do not know how (or why) I got along without it. I love, love, love the French doors. They let in so much more light, and they are so much prettier to look at, and all the new doors keep the outside where it belongs - outside.

 

Solar attic fan is such a blessing - As you know, we have full southern exposure on the front of the house with no shade, so on days where the outside temperature exceeds 85 degrees, the inside the house could become quite stifling. With the addition of the solar roof fan, especially in combination with the summer fan on our wonderfully efficient furnace, the really warm days we have had since installation have been not just tolerable, but quite nearly pleasant.

 

High efficiency furnace - besides how much of a difference the summer fan makes, our downstairs always used to be much colder than the rest of the house in the fall and winter, but that is not the case anymore - it is now about the same temperature as the rest of the house, even on cold, damp days. It is also so much quieter than our old furnace. I have to go stand over the heat register to feel if hot air is coming out, as most of the time, I cannot hear it. Also, how you and JJ managed to find a touchscreen I can work is nothing short of a miracle - I cannot work touch screens now with the sole exception of the thermostat in my home.

Siding - you promised a reduction in noise from the composite siding, and I admit I had a hard time picturing what 40 percent less noise would sound like, but I know now - it is quiet - blissfully, heavenly quiet. As in the dogs do not hear people when they pull up out front until they knock on the door (and they used to hear people when they parked) quiet. The only place we get noise now is from the windows we did not have you replace. . .yet. I really love that we hardly put anything in the landfill to replace the siding on the whole home. I love how the house looks, and I really love that I did not have to have a negative impact on the planet to make this change to my house. My fondness for the product is only increased by the fact that we never ever have to do a thing to maintain it.

Hot water heater - changing this out has been wonderful. The second person to shower in the house most always used to get at least part of the shower cold, and that no longer happens - the water comes out at temperature quickly and is available for both to shower at the same time (never possible prior) or for a second shower after the first without getting cold water. The wonderful availability of hot water might account for the fact that we have not seen a reduction in water usage, and the fact that we had the summer fan on high versus medium might also account for the fact that we have not seen a reduction in our KWH over this time last year, but we did see a approximately 20 percent drop in both the THRM/month and Average THRM per day when comparing October 2009 to October 2010. I am curious to see what the utility bills will show for December and January, historically our highest months.

You were both impressive in how you worked with us to identify our priorities and needs, and then found a way to meet them in a cost-effective way that resulted in a pleasant home environment. How pleased I am starting with the initial information-gathering where you both came out and shared what was available and made sure we had all the information we needed to choose the best options for our goals and had a wide range of options to choose among and and how willing you both were to answer any questions we had about the products or the process at any point. We had some tricky things to accomodate with the hot water vent having to be moved, and JJ found a great solution for us that gave us more room in our downstairs bathroom. You worked with us to find siding, pricing, and financing that let us get everything done that we needed and wanted to do within budget.

How pleased I am continued with how available you both were to us at any point in this process - you in particular were completely available by phone or email, were very responsive, and were very flexible in answering any of my questions or concerns. Your willingness to find a way to make things work for us in all regards means a lot to me, as did your willingness to be flexible and accommodate my work schedule and deadlines. I will admit I am not always the easiest to work with - I can be somewhat exacting because I know exactly what I want. How we were treated always let me know I was heard and valued as a client. The fact that I got everything I wanted and am still smiling and happily recommending Washington Energy Service and you personally is a testament to the quality of service you provided.

I also want to take a moment to thank all the teams that were a part of making all these wonderful changes happen. The people who assist in scheduling and make sure that all the permits are out to you were so nice, friendly, and easy to work with, it was a completely pleasant experience getting everything scheduled. I was admittedly nervous about having people in the house to do installations, but the teams that were sent out were wonderful. The installation team for the doors were actually a lot of fun to have at the house, and besides that, they went over and above just installing the doors, and actually took the time to explain keying a lock in case we ever changed any of the other locks in the house and wanted them keyed to match the new ones. The hot water heater/solar attic fan team did a fantastic job, and were very respectful and polite, and checked in with me whenever there was a situation where there was an opportunity to take my preferences into account (very courteous of them, I thought). The individual who came out to help with the gas line inspection took the time to explain what was being checked and why - something I greatly appreciate - I like knowing how a thing works. I also appreciate the individual who came out after the inspection to check on whether a direct connection to the thermostat for the summer fan was possible, taking the time to explain how to change the summer fan speed; while I might have figured it out on my own, his showing me saved me a lot of time and puzzling over the manual. The siding team was also quite courteous and gracious, and they did beautiful work - I have been getting compliments on it from family and neighbors. Essentially, everyone has been wonderful to work with, I have everything I wanted - really, I could not possibly be more pleased.

Starting with the initial visit your salesman was prompt, professional, and friendly. He was well prepared and thorough. We elected to replace our LP Siding with Hardie siding and to have gutters replaced. He went out of his way to schedule with the gutter team so we could have some painting done while the gutters were off and still not interfere with the siding job.

Dan, the Siding Manager arrived on schedule for the critical measure and was thorough, professional and friendly. He took a lot of time explaining all details and what to expect.

The gutter crew arrived on schedule, worked hard and got the job done.

The siding crew was a joy to work with - always on time, worked hard and did a wonderful job throughout - There is a lot of wall on our house (we live on a hill and some of the heights were considerable). When issues arose they made sure that things were fixed 100%. No skimping, everything done the way I would want, but did not need to ask.

I cannot think of anything within the scope of this project I could ask to have been done better.

Job management, crews, materials and support were all superb.

I recommend them highly. Please feel free to call on me as a reference.

It is really hard to find good workers who are perfectionists and truly enjoy their work. I really hated to see Al and Curt leave, they are such great guys to talk to. I hope you can do something special for them, because they deserve it for a job well done. I will recommend Washington Energy to all my neighbors, and will call your comapny first if I need anything else in the future. We have had lots of compliments telling us how great the house looks, and we love it too, especially the wife. It has been a pleasure dealing with you, and please give my thanks to Terry also.

My wife and I had been looking into new windows and siding for our home for years. We have a southern colonial in a decent neighborhood so we have been picky, and under a budget.

Washington Energy approached us and we had a good feeling about the company’s reputation. The windows and siding came in at the right price and workmanship was excellent. I perform my own extensive remodeling work and carpentry, so your company had to be good. Absolutely no complaints.

A little point of confusion, early in the job prior to all the equipment showing up, they needed an extension cord. I loaned them one of mine. When it was all done, I thought my cord walked – not intentionally, just an error. It turns out that they had put the cord away, where it belonged, in my garage and I had overlooked it.

My new furnace is wonderful, the installation was fast and totally transparent, I hardly realized your installation crew was here. Lance and Dan arrived at 0930, and had my old antique furnace out of the house in under an hour. The installation of the new furnace and some additional duct work was totally completed by 1430. Matt thoroughly cleaned all the ducting, lined the registers with cheese cloth [for a week] and was finished in about 90 minutes! Lance patiently took me through the filter changing procedure and explained the operation of my new thermostat.

I can’t tell you how totally pleased I am with the entire operation! You were right, the installation crew is the best, not a minute wasted and more than happy to explain things as they went along. Amber Hearn was a real pleasure to deal with on the scheduling, she went out of her way to make sure the job was done in one day, and at a time convenient for me. To be honest, I am looking forward to the billing, I have no problem at all paying for a job well done by such pleasant people!

Washington Energy Services is the best…I would not hesitate to recommend them or you to my friends in the future!

When my friend’s furnace failed, he did some research and went with your company based on your price, products and professionalism. He rated your company as excellent and recommended WESCO. I called your company when my furnace failed. My first contact was a conveniently scheduled, promptly kept and professionally represented presentation by Kevin Cooper. He was able to recommend a set of products for us to decide from without any sales tactics or “gimmicks”. The prices he provided and products represented were right on. He was able to arrange an emergency installation for the next business day. Your coordinator contacted me to make sure that everything was in order before and after installation.

The installers came out at the appointed time, installed the unit exactly to my requests. They were prompt and contacted me directly with details and questions and left not a spec of construction debris. Within a few hours of unit operation, we discovered an issue with the furnace, and a second contact was necessary. An appointment was scheduled for a service technician, and an inspection and certification. The day of the service call, the inspector called and arrived promptly. He acknowledged the issue, inspected the installation, and contacted the technician for further assistance to resolve my complaint.

Your technician responded and was here within 10 minutes of the call. He verified the condition and proceeded with the diagnosis. Within one hour or so, he made minor adjustments, and was able to identify the cause of my issue, which incidentally, was not the furnace but a harmonic in my ducts. After bringing the furnace to optimum performance (now much quieter and providing the benefits that I had expected), he proceeded to solve the cause of my concern.

Your technician then took the time to show me how to clean my electronic filters, make recommendations for proper care, inspected my thermostat for proper settings and answered all my questions regarding the furnace. The inspector then proceeded to perform his duct inspections, and within the hour he had identified several easy to fix leaks. Rather than try to sell me some additional services, and take advantage of the situation, he took the time to give me some instruction on how to fix most of them myself. Upon leaving, they thanked me again for my business and reminded me that WESCO would be happy to address any other issues that came up.

All I can say, Mr. Olson, is BRAVO. Your company customer satisfaction engine fired on all cylinders. Our home is warm with a quiet, efficient, and state-of-the-art furnace. I hope that you send out some “attaboy/girl’s” to your people for what I consider OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am looking forward to future business with your company and will recommend your people for any “energy service” product.

I am writing to let you know how happy I am with the customer service received from all members of your team who helped with my furnace, air cleaner and water heater installation on 4-21-11.The first person I had contact with came to service my old furnace in March... I had not maintained the furnace very well. He was very helpful in answering questions I had and left me the information I needed to contact the company to make an appointment to speak with a sales rep

I did not get the name of the person I spoke to when scheduling the appointment, but he was extremely accomodating. He scheduled a meeting at my convenience, within just a few days.

Your salesman spent alot of time at our appointment, answering all my questions. He walked through the house, took measurements, and gave his recommendations without making me feel pressured. He followed through on everything he said he was going to do. He worked with my Homeowner Association to make sure they understood how everything would work, and provided them with a diagram of installation, resulting in their approval in just a couple of days. He arranged to have a coordinator call me for scheduling the installation appointment, and, again, I received great service from her. He even showed up on installation day, just to check in.

I could not have gotten two better guys for installation. They went above and beyond, to figure out a way to install the necessary piping without ruining my hallway linen closet. Now, the closet is completely unchanged by the install. I so appreciate this extra attention to detail, and I get the feeling that they do this kind of thing all the time, as part of the job. It made a big difference to me, and I cannot say enough about these guys.

I am getting used to the new furnace, and may have some questions down the road. I am confident that any concern I have will be handled in the same customer-service oriented manner that has already been shown to me. Everyone, and I mean everyone, on your team is the BEST. Please feel free to share this with any other company members who need to know. Thank you so much.

You checked in with us repeatedly before, during and after the recent sale and installation of our new Furnace and Air Conditioning project. Often, when someone serves in a Sales capacity, they sell you and forget you. You are certianly an exemplary exception to this all too common experience. You serve your Customers and your employer splendidly.

Your installation crew was superb, knowledgeable, tidy and efficient. The entire installation of the New York Furnace and the selected rooftop Air Conditioner unit, handled by Andy, Roman, and TJ, was flawless in its execution from our perspective.

When additional electrical needs emerged, Sean stepped in, was assisted by Andy and Roman, and he went the extra mile to solve technical and logistical issues promptly and with sensitivity for our aesthetic installation concerns. Sean did a miraculous job of putting in the additional electrical runs in an aesthetically pleasing manner. We could not be more pleased with the efforts and the results that everyone at Washington Energy Services delivered on the installation of our project.

\ The Washington Energy Pricing came in within $40.00 of my Budget Estimate for the project, and I considered Washington Energy to be very price-competitive in both your initial estimates for the project as well as in the extra value you all added during the installation process. I was not nickel-and-dimed as the scope expanded. You were all Pros in every sense of the word.

We could not recommend any service or organization more highly. That is saying a lot these days. And we are very selective Buyers. This experience with you and Washington Energy greatly exceeded our expectations.
