Seattle Air Conditioning
What better way to cool down Seattle than to have central air conditioning installed in your home and ready for the weather.
From Seattle to Tacoma, and all around Puget Sound, homeowners have several choices for air conditioning that don’t involve putting a box air conditioner hanging out of their windows. The York Air Conditioning product line, including the Affinity air conditioners and LX air conditioners provide quality air conditioning and energy efficiency too. Washington Energy Services recommends York Air Conditioning products because they are energy efficient air conditioners of excellent quality with very good warranties.
Air conditioning systems do qualify for federal tax credits. The 16 SEER air conditioners qualify when used in as stand alone air conditioning. The 14 SEER air conditioners when used in a hybrid system package with a furnace will also qualify. See your local Seattle tax advisor for more information on your ability to get a tax credit for air conditioning. There are no utility rebates specifically for air conditioning systems or air conditioners.
These air conditioners work with your existing ductwork to send cool air through your house. Here is a picture of what an air conditioner will look like and this is the air conditioning unit that sits outside of your house.

If you have an air conditioning system, you should have professional air conditioning maintenance done on it before the cooling season hits each year. This will ensure that it's ready to air condition your house when you want it to. Any air conditioning unit or heat pump unit that sits outside of a Seattle area home over the winter will no doubt collect leaves and debris that need to be cleaned out for it to air condition properly.
If you aren’t ready to add air conditioning to your home but want some cooling for those times you need it, a heat pump could be a good alternative.
