Local Utility Rebates
We are a participating contractor with:
- Puget Sound Energy (PSE),
- Seattle City Light,
- Snohomish County PUD
- Tacoma Power,
- Peninsula Light
- Cascade Natural Gas.
We are also a master installer with the NW Ductless Project. Often there is no waiting for your rebate, we are certified by the utility to take it right off our invoice instantly if you qualify. Ask your Washington Energy Services Home Energy Specialist for rebate details.
There are also rebates for plumbing fixtures (showerhead/toilet) . Contact your electric utility for washer/dryer and lightbulb rebate details. All utility rebates are subject to change and restrictions. Below we’ve listed some of the great incentives available for energy upgrade products.
Puget Sound Energy Instant Rebates
Washington Energy now provides PSE rebates instantly when you contract with us!
Seattle City Light Rebates
Cascade Natural Gas Rebates
High efficiency furnace: 90+AFUE furnace $150 /95+AFUE furnace $250, extra $ for PTCS duct sealing.
Hydronic heating with 90% efficient or higher tankless $1000
Tankless water heater/condensing .91 AFUE+ $150
Natural gas fireplace insert; 70% FE (fireplace efficiency) $200/80% AFUE+ $300
Water Heater .64 EF; $40
Insulation; .30 – .45 / sq ft for ceiling, attic, wall and floor insulation, restrictions apply.
Tacoma Power Instant Rebate Program (electric heated homes only)
Ductless heat pump in qualified electric-heated homes. $800 instant rebate
Windows in pre-1988, well insulated homes. Replace single pane or double pane metal frame:$5/sq ft up to $1000. No mobile homes.
Insulation Rebates: .60/sq foot up to $1000 for ceiling, floor, wall. Pre 1988 homes only. Requires inspection.
Duct Sealing up to $450 in pre-1988 built homes only.
Tacoma Power also offers low interest loans to income qualified families (loans require pre-approval).
Snohomish County PUD Rebate Program
Ductless heat pump: $1200
Air source heat pump, new: $2000-$2500; restrictions apply. Requires pre-inspection.
Air source heat pump upgrade: $600.
Attic insulation: 50 cents / sq ft.
Floor or Wall insulation: 70 cents/sq ft.
Duct sealing & insulation: $5 per linear ft up to $800.
Window glass: double metal frame to double pane U .30 or lower, $6.00/sq ft.
Window glass: single pane to double pane U.30 or lower, $8.00 /sq ft.
Peninsula Light Rebate Programs
Ductless heat pump in electrically heated home or manufactured home; Before 4/1/2014: $1500
Ductless heat pump rebate for single family home with zonal electric heat (baseboard, wall); After 4/1/2014: $800
Ductless heat pump rebate for single family and manufactured homes with electric forced air furnace. After 4/1/2014: $1200
Federal Energy Tax Credits – Ended 12/2013.
Energy Tax Credits were available in 2013 for your 2013 tax return. They are only provided in 2014 for geothermal, wind and solar energy. See Energystar.gov for details.

Each one of the Utilities in Western Washington will have their own forms to fill out to get these rebates and in some cases, special inspections that must be completed. We have all of the required forms for you, so relax and we’ll make sure you get all the rebates you are qualified for.
