HVAC Service Managertop

Washington Energy Services is currently looking for an HVAC Service Manager to join our management team. This position is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the service division. We need a positive and energetic person to keep the service department on track through good hiring, training and direction of a great staff of service technicians. This will be accomplished through continuing education on product knowledge, dealing with customer issues and warehouse organization.

We are looking for a manager with a proven aptitude for HVAC Service, managing team members and strong customer relations. You are a self-motivated; goal oriented professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment focused on quality customer service. The job description is simple, meet your revenue and margin goals, treat our customers fairly and take good care of our employees. When an issue comes up our litmus test is simple the answer to a problem should be a win for the customer, a win for the employee and a win for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train and retain excellent technicians for your division.
  • Manage service technicians depending on work load
  • Schedule techs, assign duties and work with dispatch coordinators to ensure coverage
  • Take care of customer satisfaction items as needed
  • Inventory Management
  • Process paperwork for division – time cards, billing, service paperwork etc.
  • Develop systems and processes which support the continued success of the division
  • Produce all required reporting for ownership. Forecast information daily, weekly and monthly.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years industry experience – Minimum Required
  • Industry Wide Diagnostic Ability
  • Required Certification: 06A, Nate, Generac generators & gas fireplace preferred.
  • Aggressive, motivated, self-starter who is passionate about their work.
  • Strong computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Strong oral communication skills; able to have a well-structured conversation at executive level.
  • Ability to direct and manage staff to produce successful division.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks successfully.
  • Ability to perform well in a constantly changing environment.
  • Clean driving record.

The outside sales position involves meeting with home owners (evenings and weekends required) and helping them design a package that best suit their needs, closing of the sale, and following the job through to installation. In this sales environment, you have the daily gratification of making the sale for a company that is the best in the industry. Six-figure income is the expectation. The HVAC Lead Installer, while reporting to the Field Manager, is expected to facilitate all aspects of a given installation. Customer communication, set up, install, clean up are the Lead’s responsibility. Excellent communication, quality workmanship, attention to detail, and hard work, are all traits of a valuable Lead HVAC Installer.

Primary Duties:

  • Complete installation of HVAC products such as: Furnaces, Fireplaces, Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps and Air Quality Products
  • Make sheet metal transitions and/or boxes for new equipment
  • Equipment demonstration with the customer
  • Loading and unloading of trucks/trailers

  • Safely and properly operate insulation equipment to install insulation in customers home.
  • Assist the lead installer with comprehensive insulation improvements which may include air sealing and attic, wall and crawlspace insulating.
  • Communicate directly with lead installer regarding installation and process

Requirements:

  • Direct experience with insulation installation is preferred

This position will focus on answering a high volume of calls related to all products and services offered by the company. This position will support marketing campaigns, retention programs and cross selling opportunities. This position is for part-time with the opportunity to become full-time. This position will require the flexibility to work Saturdays.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Ability to handle a high volume of inbound phone calls promptly and professionally
