Camp Burton, Vashon Island
Camp Burton has provided summer camp and year round retreat facilities on Vashon Island for non-profit organizations for over 102 years. Camp Burton is proud to serve all ages of children and adults with special emphasis in the summertime for the American Cancer Society, people with developmental disabilities, and the Sickle Cell Association.
Because Washington Energy Services thinks so highly of Camp Burton, we recently provided window and door upgrades to several buildings throughout the camp. Click here to read what the executive director had to say about Washington Energy Services.
In an effort to further this worthy cause, Washington Energy Services continues to make annual cash contributions to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The money is used to grant wishes to children with cancer, serious illnesses and other life-threatening conditions.FFA Washington Energy Services is proud to support the Future Farmers of America organization. We recently sponsored the Puget Sound Junior Livestock Show where students received excellent marks from the judges. |
A Time of Remembrance
Washington Energy Services is proud to recognize and honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives in service to our country. To show our heartfelt respect and gratitude, Washington Energy Services has donated $10,000 to “A Time of Remembrance,” an event which honors local heroes who were lost in service to their country in Iraq and Afghanistan.
